The Prevent IMM will last one year under standard care. Any IMM failure not related to damage caused by athlete abuse will be replaced by Prevent.

Any athlete age 10 and older are able to wear the Prevent IMM.

The Prevent custom IMM requires a dental scan of the upper teeth for each individual user, while the Prevent boil and bite is a standard off the shelf solution which requires a one-minute fitting process for each user to gain a personalized fit. The Prevent custom IMM is most commonly used by elite athletes that are familiar with wearing a custom mouthguard. Community level athletes frequently wear the Prevent hybrid boil & bite IMM due to ease of implementation and use.

The Prevent IMM has received extensive independent safety testing and certification. The Prevent IMM components are carefully sealed to protect from chewing and athlete abuse.

The Prevent iOS app is currently compatible with all iOS devices. At this time, the Prevent iOS app is not compatible with Android products.
