The Prevent Impact Monitoring Mouthguard is the culmination of 10 years of intensive development by a team of doctors, engineers and NASA-trained mathematicians. The technology itself was conceived at the world-renown Cleveland Clinic, where the first research prototype was fabricated, its accuracy validated in a historic peer-reviewed published study. Prevent Biometrics was formed in 2015 to take head impact monitoring from the lab to the playing field.
