Sports Tech Industry Expert Will Help Prevent Biometrics Expand Operationally and Commercially
MINNEAPOLIS (JUNE 09, 2022) — Prevent Biometrics, which developed the industry-leading instrumented mouthguard used across sports globally, announced today that sports tech executive Karl Hogan has joined the company as an advisor.
In his role, Hogan will work closely with CEO Mike Shogren to help the company expand both operationally and commercially, adding to the company’s burgeoning list of users which includes World Rugby, the United States Department of Defense and over 100 sports organizations around the world.
Hogan spent five years with sports analytics company Catapult, most recently as senior vice president of communications & partnerships. He previously held positions as commercial director and global head of league and data partnerships with the company.

The move comes as interest in Prevent’s instrumented mouthguards is growing across sports.
